Terrance McClendon

Hello My Name Is...

Terrance Mcclendon

Mr. McClendon

<About Me>

I am Terrance D. McClendon and I am a mathematics teacher here at Whale Branch Early College High School. This is my 3rd year in the Beaufort County School District and my 3rd year here at Whale Branch Early College High School. The quote that Malcolm X provided all of us is something that we can all follow. I use the quote and my parents and grandparents as examples of people who believe in education. They always told me that an education is something that cannot be taken away from anyone. I watch my parents work hard in order to provide for my brother and myself. Growing up, I realized that if you want something you must work hard for it. When I graduated from Walterboro High School, I entered South Carolina State University where I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics. I then earned a Masters of Education degree from Lesley University in Education Technology and a Masters of Arts in Teaching degree from South Carolina State University.

Currently, I teach Probability & Statistics and Geometry at Whale Branch High School. I want to wish everyone a happy and successful academic year.

Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.
