After graduating I worked in education for numerous years before going back to school to get my Master's Degree. I moved to Troy, Alabama to pursue my Master's Degree in History. At Troy, I worked as a D1 track and field coach for two years.
In 2011, I moved to Beaufort, South Carolina and began working as a History teacher at Whale Branch Early College High School. I have taught Civics, Economics, Government, Sociology, World Geography, and World History. Currently, I am in charge of teaching the history college courses as part of our TCL program. I also serve as the Department Chair and Head Track and Field Coach. This is my 8th year at Whale Branch.
